1993-94 NBA Upper Deck Basketball Special Edition - Western Region

This 225-card standard-size set was distributed in hobby East, hobby West, retail and magazine retail packs.  Card fronts feature color player action shots that are borderless, except on the left, where a strip carries the player's name in gold foil along with his position and a vertically distorted black-and-white version of the action shot. The player's team name appears in vertical gold-foil lettering near the right edge. The back carries a color player action photo, with his name, position, and brief biography appearing in stripes across the top. Statistics and career highlights are displayed horizontally in a ghosted panel on the left.

The set closes with the following topical subsets: NBA All-Star Weekend Highlights (181-198) and Team Headlines (199-225). Two Michael Jordan insert cards are a Kilroy card (JK1) and a retirement tribute card (MJR1).
